Cosmetic Dentistry

We offer a range of cosmetic dentistry treatments to help give you more confidence in your appearance.

Whitening
Discoloured or darkened teeth can be lightened with special bleach. This can be applied either at our dental clinic or at home. The tooth whitening agent is applied onto teeth with a customised plastic tray that is moulded to fit your teeth and acts as a container for the bleach. After two weeks of nightly use at home, you should notice a significant difference in the brightness of your teeth.
Tooth whitening may not be suitable for some types of discolouration and should only be done under the guidance of your dentist.

Veneers
A veneer is a thin layer of porcelain or resin (approximately 0.5mm thick) that is bonded to the front of a tooth to mask any discolouration. Naturally, the equivalent depth of enamel from the tooth will need to be removed in order to maintain even thickness across the teeth. Porcelain veneers tend to last longer than resin, however, they are more easily damaged by habits such as fingernail chewing.

Invisalign
We offer Invisalign Clear Aligner Therapy, which is a set of customised clear retainers that slowly move your teeth into a straightened position. These are a more cosmetic friendly alternative to traditional braces as Invisalign achieves similar outcomes in teeth alignment while being inconspicuous for the duration of the therapy.
