Our Dentist
Dr. Wee Seng Ch'ng, BDSc (Melb)

Seng has been serving the St Kilda community and surrounding suburbs for over 25 years.  He believes in the importance of establishing long-term relationships that are built on trust, to ensure that patients’ dental health and smile are maintained long-term.  Seng is also a strong believer of effective communication, and takes the time to clearly explain all aspects of treatment.  Patients describe Seng as thorough, friendly, gentle and down-to-earth. 

As a member of the Australia Dental Association, Seng regularly attends continuing professional development courses and is committed to providing the highest-quality dental care.

Outside of work, Seng enjoys having brunch at cafes with his wife and two sons, going for walks in Melbourne’s parks and beaches, and travelling.

Our Clinic

Our caring team is committed to providing excellent, ethical and personalised dental care.  We take the time to listen to each patient's concerns, explain the various options that are available and to create a customised treatment plan.

We are conveniently positioned close to the corner of Barkly Street and Acland street. There is ample on-street parking close to the practice, and the practice is located 2 minute’s walk from the Acland Street tram stop. 


We have modern, refurbished and newly-fitted out surgeries with state-of-the-art equipment. 

Our Services

​We provide a comprehensive range of services to help you to achieve optimal dental health and a beautiful smile.  

Preventative dentistry

Regular dental checkups and is important for the long-term maintenance of your dental health and smile.  We take the time to carefully explain the cause of dental disease to ensure that you understand how this can be prevented. 

Restorative dentistry:
Restorative dentistry is a branch of dentistry that is related to the restoration of decayed, damaged or lost teeth.  We use the latest materials and technologies to help provide treatment that is long-lasting, aesthetic, and suited to your preferences.

Cosmetic treatment:
We offer a range of cosmetic services including bonding, veneers and Invisalign to help patients to achieve a beautiful smile. 

Emergency services:
Dental emergencies may be related to severe tooth pain or sensitivity, broken or chipped teeth, knocked-out teeth and dental infections.  We are available provide timely emergency services to not only help you with pain-relief, but to prevent problems from getting worse.

Appointments
​We welcome bookings made either in person or over the phone, and we do our best to accommodate our patients' schedules and any dental emergencies.  So that we can schedule our appointments efficiently, we ask our patients to give a minimum of 24 hours' notice for appointment cancellations.  A cancellation fee may be charged if cancellation occurs within 24 hours of the appointment.

Payment Options
Payment is required on the day of treatment.
For your convenience we accept payment by cash, VISA, MASTERCARD and AMERICAN EXPRESS, and cheque (by prior arrangement).  We can process on the spot health insurance claims upon presentation of the patient's health insurance card.  We are an approved health provider by the Department of Veterans Affairs, and for the Medicare Child Dental Benefits Scheme (CDBS).

We periodically review our fees to keep them as low as possible, while maintaining the highest possible quality of care to ensure that quality dental care is within the reach of our patients.
